Nam Prik Pao (Og Classic)

Thai style roasted chili jam. This one contains shrimp paste and fish sauce. All the delicious umami exactly how any Thai home would make. This is a key ingredient in many Thai salads -aka- yums and Tom Yum for its balance of spicy, sweet, tangy, and umami notes. This sauce is sure to make your taste buds sing. 

This is different than your typical chili crisp or crunch in the fact that it's a jam. It's utterly delicious and balanced with tangy tamarind and smoky notes of dry roasted chilis. 
With a base of real caramelized shallots and garlic, this is a great way to zoosh up spreads, dips, as a great starter for stir fries and pasta. It's lovely as on pizza, eggs, and our favorite - charcuterie boards!
